Volunteers for most positions should be at least 18 years of age. St. Timothy's will be holding an in-person training session on Thursday, March 28th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 31st at 12:30 p.m. for new volunteers and as a refresher for previous VH volunteers. For further information please review the St. Timothy's Operations Manual.
It is a comprehensive plan that covers many of the materials reviewed during the training. Please also refer to the Training Video
found on the Resources page; it highlights information regarding the homeless population.
STLC utilizes Protect My Ministry for all church volunteer screening and background checks. In the interest of guest safety and as part of Protect My Ministry, the following will be required for those in direct contact with our Village House guests:
***Church volunteers who have completed Safe Church and School for other programs (ie, St.Tim's Kids, Youth Ministry, St. Timothy's Academy, etc.) will not need to repeat the above items, but they are still expected to attend a training session for Village House.
Meal, laundry or facility maintenance volunteers are not subject to Safe Church and School requirements outlined above, although ALL volunteers will be run through Megan's Law website.
***Past Village House volunteers who have been cleared by another church/parish will need to provide an executed St. Timothy's Village House (VH) clearance permission slip so that you will not need to be screened once again. Please click on the link below to print the waiver:

***All volunteers who sign up will be contacted by Beth Tkacheff, Church Administrator, or one of the STLC Village House Directors to initiate the volunteer screening process.
